Tom is the SA, Dan is the worker bee. He has worked on all my cars and I got a tour of their new shop yesterday. Dan has always been accurate in everything he has done on all my BMW's over the past 4.5 years. He will actually correct Tom sometimes. Plus, he will point things out to me that I'm not even considering, for example having a small trim piece changed. I didn't even notice a problem with it, he pointed it out and then told me if I told Tom it would be replaced for free.

I know Michelle, she is very nice. Next time you're in chat with Tom and have him intro you to Dan.

Russel BMW and Tom have been good to our X3 and 325i as well. It was Ryan's referral actually, but given the mediocre service in DC, I usually take the hour-long drive up there for service as well.

They gave us a brand new '08 X3 loaner last time with just 5 miles on the clock!

These new cars are great but I just can't imagine anyone trying to keep them running like the older BMWs.

Derek....what dealer do you use?......Phil

Well the tech told me it is a little know fact that there is a TSB issued regarding the computer/iDrive components in the 6. Not sure which other models use the same components.

Once again, props to Russel BMW.

Hey Wags, try some new voice commands. See if the options menu will give you more. I've read that you get more commands with hardware changes or software upgrades......Phil
