Well it has its ups and downs I think. Get your share of compliments. Sad to say too that like yesterday, as I was driving along EDSA from Makati to QC, this moron cut me off almost sending me to the wall of the tunnel (yes, there's now a tunnel below EDSA at the intersection of Ayala Ave.) But then again, that kind of idiotic driving is quite common here.

Blk03X5, I have an aunt who lives near the Shadow Oak Dr. area. I went to visit her last year. Then my batchmates from high school and I ate in this Pinoy resto near Manila Sunset. Forgot the name now.

I believe it is called Salo Salo. It's still there. My family and I frequent that place as well.

Hey Jay - haven't been down in Jersey City. Been kinda busy with work because I temporary took over my leads job while he recovers from heart surgery. I don't know how he did it but, there are soo many meetings and action items I can not keep up.

Went out tonight and it was one of the worst date I had in a long time, so came home early.

May have to work tomorrow because of one of the interns "killed" a couple of displays. Oh, well! So, how have you been? I'll make it to Jersey City when the weather turns okay. Have to get ready for a convention in Baltimore and present a paper to a bunch of engineers. Man, I am a total geek.

If there's enough filipinos in this board from the tri-state area we should get together. Can't really speak tagalog but, I get by.

sounds good major...i think we have enough pinoy members within tri state

Guys,

Driving in Manila in an X5 is a one hell of an experience. Can you stand up against the jeepneys and buses in the highway ? Fighting for spce and inches away from touching each other.....I am sure tbc111 will agree with me. It only gets worse with the increase of motorcyles weaving thru the highway and oftentimes hitting your side mirrors ? The key word I would always have to keep in mind while driving is "PATIENCE". My X5 is so precious that I do not want to risk even the slightest damage. Having an X5 diesel helps a lot with the daily taffic I have to live with.
