Posting pics here. Converting to less pixels.
 

What is the best way to convert pixels so that the larger pics that others post make it on? I have some pics that just won't fit.

I have been playing around with the software but I am a finance guy...who knows how to convert to a 2mb file using this software.

Thx

1. Open up the image in Irfanview.
2. Hit Control-R and a dialog box should open.
3. In the dialog box click on image size 640x480 and then close the dialog box
4. Hit Control-S and another dialog box should open
5. In the dialog box select to save the file as a jpeg. You can play around with the save quality. Anything around 80% should be good quality and shrink it pretty nicely.

Note that you can save it as a different file name so that you don't lose the original 2MB file, which will obviously be of higher resolution.
