i think the reason is not the oil production or suply but the decreasing in US$ value and the speculation even the gree of merchants and trader in the international market.

The Third Reich was the last time a major world power was so despised by the majority of the world. The only ones who approved of them were the large corporations, and that was because they were fascist -- an economic system that greatly benefits big business.
