No lecture meant, but for first time or non-Really Experienced riders, take it cool on the new scooters. They do not handle quite like m'cycles, due to much smaller wheel dia. and cushy, but short travel suspension, and a much diff frame/steering geometry.
I've ridden several and they are fun, quick and very well done these days compared to my "Cushman Eagle daze" in the early '60s.
But, riding a motorized lil'sled on the street, In Traffic, is a large leap from bicycle riding or driving a car.
Be careful, be alert, think that No Car sees you or Cares, and wear a fooking helmet. GL,md
(Riding since I was 14, in the dirt and 42 yrs on the street and haven't been down, Yet.)
