As for the pot head, on the road, driving argument, that's just a silly argument. Driving Under the Influence is Driving Under the Influence. Doesn't matter if it's alcohol, weed, meth, prescrition drugs like oxycodone, perckaset, xanax, etc.
Besides, given the choice, of being in a car accident, where the person that hits me is:
a) drunk
b) on Meth
c) on Coke
d) on prescription pills
e) smoked a joint
I'll take "E" as the lesser of all evils, everyday of the week and twice and sunday. yes, it will be annoying to have to replace the bumper, but it's a much better alternative than being rammed by some drunk lady in a Ford F-350 Dually.
I'm not suggesting in reality that one is really better than the other, I am kidding. but really, there are laws in place, DUI does not mean, driving
DRUNK, it means, driving under the INFLUENCE of any substance.
