I know one thing... The value of his policies won't be at the top of the list. This thing is agenda driven by the media and the democrat party.

"OK, now what is this change you mentioned, we forgot to ask for clarification during the general election..we were too caught up in you being black, Hillary being a woman and McCain being old?" |
Tangent.
Wow, Obama is the KING of doubting policy while providing none of his own. http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/06/...rap/index.html |

Obama said his energy plan would include taxing profits from oil companies and using that money to help families pay their energy bills. He also said he would "close the loophole that allows corporations like Enron to engage in unregulated speculation that ends up artificially driving up the price of oil." Obama said he would raise the fuel standards and invest $150 billion over the next 10 years in alternate sources of energy. "My entire energy plan will produce three times the oil savings that John McCain's ever could -- and what's more, it will actually decrease our dependence on oil while his will only grow our addiction further," he said. |

Sounds pretty specific to me. It also seems to be a more realistic approach to both long term and short term relief at the pump. While Bush's and McCain's costal and ANWR drilling plan may slightly reduce our dependance on foreign oil, relief will not come in the near future. Short term: go after speculators Long term: 150b investment over 10 years in alternative energy solutions I also think that McCain's $300m search for the best rechargable car battery was short sighted and limited because he did not consider other other energy sources. How about an incentive to figure out how to lay out the infrastructure and distribution for hydrogen fueling stations? BTW, you may want to clarify your "Official White Knight" title. Just a thought. I know you don't mean this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_K...e_Ku_Klux_Klan |
There objective is not short term relief but stability, major difference. There is no short term relief, markets don't work that way.
McCain...stop firing people because the media doesn't like them: http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/06...ampaign-trail/ True what he said seems callous, but it was the truth. |

If they could hit the US mainland, they would. They didn't need him to say that. BTW: follow some threads where soccerjunky called Michelle and I white knights...by the way..it had absolutely nothing to do with race..but thus..this is our culture where the mere mention of color "had" to mean race :tsk: |
