Free trial downloads can be great. But here's a thought

Since you just getting a new Mac and your new to the OS wait before you download free trials. No need to load up your system with applications you may not use that may bloat the OS and then need to be deleted.

Do the research first. Narrow down your choices to the few that have the features you want and need then proceed. Remember there is no rush.
Quality usable installations will prevent you from having to spend to much time deleting unnecessary files that have been loaded into the system.

So, like a dumb (electrical engineer - can't spell gEEk without a double E) jock I want a starter set-up which I can grow. I have played with the 24in iMac but, didn't know that they offered the 3GHz box. Guess, I just needed an excuse and y'all are my excuse to go back with Apple.

I got my iMac at King of Prussia
