Important Vet Question

Hello All,

I have spent a very restless night and really need to know as my vet has been anything but helpful if anybody knows what the issue could be:

My dog: 2 Year old Chihuahua male

The Issue: He has been coughing on and off all night, that is following by him trying to throw up (he has successfully twice) both times it was a piece of food that I quickly grabbed away from him.

He seems ok for right now, and has done this in the past, but never this frequently in such a short period of time.

Any ideas?

My dog has never been sick so I don't really have a vet I use beyond shots etc and as I just moved the vet isn't near me anymore

Why don't you call the vet?

Honestly, this is a pretty dumb question.

You asked for "any ideas", common sense would dictate that you just call a vet and not post about it on a message board. It's not my fault that you're fresh out of common sense. You should thank me.

It wasn't rude, it was factual.

Call your old vet and get a recommendation for
a vet in your area.

I did, they couldn't recommend anything, nor can they see me or have any advice, hence why I posted.

Try yellow pages or ask neighbors who have pets.
