Favorite cocktail

Ok ladies and gents. Being Friday evening, I thought I would throw a fun thread into the lounge to loosen things up a bit with all the Olympic madness. Summer is a time of relaxation and revelry... so now what is your favorite cocktail? Since most have differing drinks for season, feel free to tell multiple drinks depending on time of year. I'll start.
Summer- Dark and Stormy/Mojito (only if made properly)
Winter-Makers Mark on the rocks

Kettle One, Diet 7-Up and lime is a great summertime drink. Martinis work the other three seasons.

Although I've developed a liking to a nice Cabernet :mmm:

i don't think of wine as a cocktail... it's more like an event on its own.

I like basically anything mixed with rum (I should have been a pirate) or vodka.

My staples are rum & Coke or cranberry & vodka.

During the summer, you can't beat a frozen margarita.

By the way, I picked up one of these frozen drink makers from Margaritaville and it is awesome! The top part has a blade that shaves the ice really fine and then it blends in with whatever drink you are making. I have to say that this thing shaves the ice to near restaurant style consistency. I highly recommend it if you like making frozen drinks at home. I have the small one and at $199 it is much cheaper and more convenient than the bigger commercial type machines. Those bigger machines are great for large parties though. I have rented them a few times.

OMG! I had a Quintessa something or other Cabernet while out with customers last week. The wine cost more than the dinner. Damn it was good.

We had 4 bottles :D

I have tried, but I just can't appreciate a fine wine. I happen to like Yellow Tail.
