Is this a trick quiestion or something? How did paper shredder not come to mind in the first place?

I think I had a retarded moment when I asked the question. I don't know why a paper shredder did not come to mind. May be because I don't have it yet. Thanks for pointing me to the obvious solution! Now I need to find a reliable model that would not die while chewing on the stuff I want to destroy. Thanks again.

Do yourself a favor, and buy a good one from the beginning. I wasted money on cheap shredders 2 or 3 times, only to have them die within 3-4 months. I finally bought the most expensive one Office Depot had (~$200), and it has worked great for about 2 years! It eats stacks of papers with staples, credit cards, and even old CD's.

:iagree: ... shop around; there are deals on the units that really eat up
the stuff. A toy, or a 2-3 sheet-at-a-time unit, are not the deal, imo.

OP: See the link I provided earlier :p: Lots of good reviews of this unit on Amazon and we have not had any problems with it.

Any of your neighbors have livestock.... such as goats? They'd prboably eat anything!
