PC Laptop Suggestions
 

Thought I would tool around on a PC laptop
just for fun. But I need some basic things.

It needs to be inexpensive. (I have heard
that PC laptops are way cheaper than Mac’s.)
It needs to be made well. (No cheap stuff).
New is fine but pristine used from a reliable
source might be considered.


14 Inch screen (larger size not needed)
At least 7200 RPM 160GB drive
Able to burn CD/DVD’s
Watch Movies
4GB Ram
Built in wireless

Your best suggestions for
other must have stuff welcome
as long as it doesn’t raise
the price.

Screen is to small

I thought you had a Mac desk top, to save a few dollars you going with a PC:dunno: Just get the 13 inch Mac Book I gave one to my wife and after initial thoughts that the screen was to small, she loves it.

How about the Samsung X460. They have been released or will be released soon.

I have 5 Mac's including 2 Laptops but
as the OP states i have a different motive
for making this choice.

13.3" WIDE screen is too small vs 14"???

Look on DealNews.com Lots of current PC laptop deals there.

do not buy Dell. if you like dell, buy acer, they make the laptops for dell.

check out the lowend lenovo's.

newegg has the acers.

i only buy ibm/lenovo's...
