Get them! If I remember correctly they aren't expensive. And installing them is easy, they basically slide in.

I've had them on all three of my Xs. I think they look pretty good too.

A cheap fix to frozen door locks...

I didn't have a garage when I was living in an apartment two years ago, and my door handles were constantly frozen in the morning. I started parking my X so that the morning sun would shine on the driver's door. When I headed out to work the in morning, the door handle opened perfectly! No resistance or clicking! It worked every time. Luckily I now have a garage. During these single-digit days, I've been parking my X this way at work.

You know later that night I searched the forum for a way to resolve the issue before going to the dealer, and I found an old thread in which you wrote the same thing about the sun, so the next day when i went to work I parked the frozen side in the sun, and after work, the problem was fixed! I won't be getting anymore car washes in this weather..
