No, sir, you're wrong. The last thing I want to do is get into a pissing match about who's right or who's wrong regarding the war or any other political subject. I stated my opinion.

Do a quick search of this board on Katrina, and you'll see why I want to avoid getting into a political discussion. Tempers and passions run high when we get into politics (and I understand that). That's why I stated my opinion with the preface that I am really not interested in another argument.

I was here during the Katrina discussions, and recall exactly what you are saying about tempers and passions. I also have no intention of having a pissing match with you or anyone on this board. Heck, I am sure I would like you in person (even if you are a liberal!!).

All I was trying to point out is that when you take a shot like you did, it is not really fair to say that you don't want to have a political argument. You get to say your opinion, inflammatory as it might be, and then ask that no one reply, to avoid an argument.

It was never intended to mean "do not reply," though I can see how one may view it otherwise. I just don't want this discussion, or any other, for that matter, to become as elevated, heated, and even personal as the Katrina discussion did. I also did not intend that post to be a "shot" that I took; my apologies if I offended anyone. :)

Hey...you gotta give the guy credit for getting blow jobs. but...I digress.. I am a big time conservative...but I am also a realist...It is very healthy for us to have people that are on both sides of the issue. It keeps one side from getting too much power. We need to accept the fact that everyone is allowed to have their own point of view without have the pissing match thing. We may all have different points of view in our political values...but we are all (most of us) Americans...and for the most part..we all want the same thing...
