Close to home. After golf yesterday, we are at one of our watering holes. A guy we know is throwing out F-bombs and more at a 100mph.
There are all ages of women around and we are
really biting our tongues. Finally I say,"Hey man, cool it with the F-bombs!". He replies,"I don't care". He is 58 y/o...:dunno:

What you have there is a 58 y/o idiot.
Sounds like someone that should be avoided.....:(

I never use restaurant ketchup unless it's in individual packages.

I observed a kid pour out ketchup from a bottle onto his fries and follow up by licking the bottle top clean before replacing the cap. This happened right in front of his mom who said nothing and did nothing. She merely put the ketchup bottle back in the holder.

I would have told a waitress about that.

I did. She gave me a "uh huh" and walked away. The restaurant is no longer in business.

I have loved them since 1993 and can't imagine a weekday without my 1 hour of Simpsons at 7pm on Fox!

yep everybody has such good manners.

Thats why people are belching and farting at the table,"talking loud on cell phones, texting or holding tables for hours, while others wait. :rolleyes:

Don't forget my number 1 Pet Peeve: Children. In expensive restaurants, unsupervised in stores. Drives me insane!

I am quilty of this one - I come from a culture where a restaurant visit is something to be enjoyed and food is not just something to scarf down.

When I first got here, long before we got married, my girlfriend and I had breakfast in a rotating restaurant at Niagara falls - was pleasant and the view was nice - though being in love I am not talking about the spectacular falls outside the window :) Anywho - I did not understand why the waitress kept asking if everything was ok - I started to think something was wrong with the food, but ofcourse she was just being polite - and maybe a little worried why I was barely touching my bagel ;)

On a side note - I think this is why waiters in europe are considered rude - there you have to ask for a waiter - so an American waiting for them to show up on their own will ofcourse think they are being rude.

Anyhow - many moons has passed since Niagara and I've become impatient with restaurants just like everyone else, but somehow still manage to always be slower than the tables around us.
