Yes the App store and Cydia. It's way easier on cydia since you can download "over the air" without connecting to itunes.

In that case then I would think you will be able to download the App once it is available on the App Store. Still waiting for Apple to give it the seal of approval.

why not just put in a function on the site, if a user logs on, it detects an iphone (or mobile phone for that matter) it changes the template to a more mobile friendly template? there is a download for it at vbulletin.org

I load apps directly from Apple to the iPhone without using iTunes.
3G works well, but Wi-Fi mo betta

Sorry folks, but it looks like there may be a bit of a delay. It appears the time it takes to get the app hosted on the Apple app store take a lot longer than was originally expected, and the early submission (since March 1st) didn't help to get this out of the door earlier. The app has been "approved" by Apple but it seems there is another month long wait to get the legal and contract sorted out. Stay tuned...

Any updates on this? Would be "useful" when bored at school.

The hope was that this would be loaded on the Apple App Store on June 1. Unfortunately there have been some further minor delays and the app is now expected to be ready within the next couple weeks.

Quard has also revisited their business model and there will be a $2.99 charge for the app. Note that none of this goes to Xoutpost.

Wow, I guess Apple really control their App Store!! Thanks for making the App for the iPhone users.

Seeing how Apple has their keynote coming up, they may back up their app store approvals for a while. I hope we could have it on June 18-19 so it could be one of the first apps on our iPhones.

BTW, I don't mind paying $3 but why let the company charge for an app which they developed for YOU? Isn't their a contract that allows you to distribute it for free or get a percentage towards Xoutpost?

The developer didn't write this exclusively for Xoutpost. Although we were one of the first vBulletin sites to participate in their alpha and beta tests, the application is written to work with any forum. My main concern was providing a useful tool for our membership.
