This thread has gone left....L, if this guy isn't around that much, let it go. If he starts to become a more frequent visitor, then you could try to get a male co worker to speak with him. There is nothing worse than someone who takes a bath in the smell goods. Some of these bottles need directions on them.....Phil

You can legally buy Sex Panther cologne. I'd buy some and leave it on your desk. If he's seen the movie, he'll get the point.
Sex Panther Cologne. 60% of the time, it works every time.

I agree... I wouldn't say anything for an infrequent visitor... as unpleasant as it might be at the time..... it's kind of like walking into the toilet after someone else has let rip, temporary, unpleasant but you know it had a purpose....

Cheers

I bought a deodorant stick today
I'd never used one before, so I read the instructions. They said
'Remove top and slowly push up bottom'
I'm in Casualty at the moment, but my farts smell lovely!!! ;);)

Laura - if it really bothered me and I didn't want to come out and say something about him I might tell him a story about something you heard from a purchasing agent once. That a salesman came in smelling very strongly of cologne and it cost they guy the account. Maybe as part of a larger conversation so it's not so obvious that it's him. Maybe he will consider it to be not a best practice.

Call up his company and request a different sales rep and if they ask why, tell them. Or if you don't have to use his company any longer, call his company up and request that he not return.

Nothing. I started this thread after he left my office. I'll worry about it if he follows up and comes back.
