No thanks. Way too big and heavy and it looks like a mini-van, IMO. Plus it got it's a$$ handed to it on the track by the X6 50i, Cayenne Turbo and ML 63.

That's more torque than God had when he created the world.

Heavy? Are you going to carry it or drive it?????

Racer.. Most highways here in the US - you cant pass 70mph!! unless you have a race track on your backyard and race around the track everyday...
:stickpoke

Yes, too heavy and big. The X6 50i is just about as fast in a straight line and does it with about 300 lb. ft. of torque less. Think about how big and heavy this thing must be. It reminds me of a Suburban I saw years ago with a boat engine in it.

The M's will smoke the hell out of this thing is straight line acceleration and the curves will be no contest. It is overkill to the max, IMO.

Is that much torque an impressive figure? For sure, but it doesn't translate into much acceleration wise due to the weight of the vehicle. Sub 5.5...no big deal anymore these days.

By the way, try driving 70 on the highways where I live. You would get run over in a matter of minutes.

Unless it's 5-0-clock traffic... then the whole Atlanta area slows to a crawl. I think the evening traffic is worse there that most cities. But they do fly around during most of the day!

 You are 100% right. 80-90 mph all day then a slow, angry crawl from 4-7 pm. Even earlier on Fridays.

I would still "LOVE" to test drive that bad boy.

The automaker says the Q7 will run from zero to 60 mph in less than 5.5 seconds
and since it would never see the track if I owned it that speed coming out the gate would be fine with me.....

It would probably be a nice car for a long roadtrip.

I would more than likely never track our X5 either, but showing what a car is capable of on the track can translate to how it drives and feels when driving "spirited" on any roads.
