I've had mine for a few weeks now and I can say there is enough difference in the speed to warrant a change. I've had the 1st Gen, the 3G and now this 3Gs...I'm also getting better reception over the same area and I spend a lot of time on a cell phone so it is not a fluke. I've always loved the iPhone for the Apps but thought it was a substandard phone in terms of call quality. AT&T still SUCKS but the 3Gs is a decent phone with Great Apps.

Thanks for the great feedback.....
But the 3G(s) is still OUT-OF-STOCK in Toronto! I'm on a waiting list and a dealer has promised (since last week) to put one aside for me and give me a call when they take delivery... nothing yet. I hope this is not an artificial shortage. |

For those of you with 3.0 phones.
(Not first generation phones) Did you have to sign on to a new 2 year contract? |
I'm still holding out for the dream that they will one day make a "pro" type model with real qwerty keyboard..
...Call me a dreamer. |
i still havent grabbed hold of a 3g since i broke my 1st gen..lol. i'd love to have a 3gs though..do you think they have found a way to unlock it yet? is anyone selling a 3g?

f-gin A....
got the iphone in one pocket but still holding dear on to a verizon phone in the other due to coverage....It's a terrible system I have.... |
I have it and enjoy all the features, but battery life. After having it for several weeks now, the battery life is abysmal. To last more then a day and a half, you need to turn off Wireless and 3G network.
The battery is actually smaller then the 2g or 3g model. |
