Yes I am! I just broke 2500 miles. I'm loving it. The pick up is incredible, so smooth. She just goes....And I'm finally getting used to the C pillar, the view out of my passenger side rear view and changing lanes to the right.

Thank you, same to you. Now if all the damn holiday tourists would get off the road and just go home already, maybe I can have some fun.

Nissan GT-R Vs Shelby GT500 Super Snake Drag Race | Concept Photos, Reviews, & More at Motortrend.com

Great video! As much as I'd love to have a GT-R I think I'd give away a testicle for the super snake... basic simply fun to drive beast that does what it does well.

It is a pretty funny video - I like what they did in the production.

The GTR is great - I'd love the opportunity to drive the $not out of it. A few years ago I drove an 06 Porsche Carerra S all wheel drive (997 CS4) but didn't get a chance to lay into it and see what it really could do.

The GTR takes away lateral traction issues and if the bias is set up right, it won't push in the turns. GT500 which is only 540 hp vs. the Snakes 700+ still manages to get to 60 at 4.3 and the quarter at 12.4 and with the traction control it keeps things in line for street driving while still not being overbearing.

So the GTR is quicker - but for me it lacks the soundtrack of the V8 and there is no open air option. AWD also removes a bit of the involvement on the drivers part, another perspective might be that it is easier to drive quickly and is more forgiving, allowing the driver to concentrate on other things than traction.

Here is another cool video on the Shelby GT500 IMO.

The only bad thing is, the X5M gets about the same 0-60 and 1/4 times on tests! (due to the added traction I'm sure)

You hit the nail on the head with all those points...i will never go back to all wheel drive again as it takes all the fun out of driving...great for snow or female drivers tho
