Another wierd happening

In Profile, the newsletter of the Granite State BMWCCA chapter, they have a breakdown of where the members of our club come from. I'm one of the 8.7% from Merrimack county. What I found odd, though, is that there are 11 members from Maine, 8 from Vermont, 32 from Massachusetts, 3 from Rhode Island, and 2 from Connecticut! Vermont and Maine I would assume have their own chapter, but maybe not... Now Mass. and CT surely have their own... Why join one out of state? Quite confusing..

BTW: Does being a BMWCCA member obligate me to go to any events? Because I havent gone to any.

No. You don't have to go to any events. You'll get a monthly magazine called Roundel and whatever local chapter your hooked up with, you'll get a monthly to bi-monthly newsletter.

Yeah, I get Roundel.. It's a good mag. I signed up mostly for parts discounts.

The out of state members are most likely members who joined the WMC for a WMC sponsored driving event (such as Cabin fever driving school etc...) . There are also a number of member who have dual-member ship with other chapters (for example I am a member of the WMC and Boston chapter).

There are a ton of kids at my school from Bedford. 90 kids out of 130 in the freshman class come from Bedford.

How is Logan these days? As someone who uses it a bit, do you think they have tightened up security at all?

Chris F. 03-29-2005 06:40 PM

Hey CJ, you can do this to them....

Logan is still a mess traffic whise, on the security side any US airport I know is still miles behind most airports in Europe and/or AP (Tokyo, Australia).
I don't think we'll see the day where there's no construction at Logan. I only use Logan for international travel not for domestic.
