People suck...

This is the second time in three years that someone hit our X in a parking lot and just left. People like this are scumbags and should be shot on the spot, IMO. It shows a complete lack of character. :cussing:

That is pretty freaking horrible.
I actually saw some a**hole hit the crap out of my Honda with his door in a parking lot one night. When I ran up and approached him about it he looked at me like it was somehow my fault. To top it all of he acted as if he didn't speak english, not sure if he actually did or not !?
A friend of mine actually beat the crap out of some guy after the other guy had hit his car in a parking lot. Tossed him on the hood of his car after the guy told him to piss off.
Its amazing what goes through some people's minds.

That suuuuucks.

That does suck...

I always try to park as far away and remotely as possible, with a curb/median
on one side. A little walk is worth keeping my cars out of the main channel.

You know the azzhole that hit you "knew it"; no note or nothing. Sucks.

My wife went two places this weekend. She said she parked further back one of the times because the other open spots were next to junkers. The other time she parked at an end spot where nobody could park on the other side. Who knows? People will find a way to hit your car regardless of where you park I guess. I would say that whoever did this knew for sure as well and they are pretty scummy for driving off. It just chaps my ass. I don't have a lot of extra money right now for this after spending over a thousand in maintenance on the X last week and a few hundred replacing an alternator in my e36 yesterday. Not to mention what will happen to my insurance premiums. Oh man, I wish I could have seen whoever did it.

It should be a comp claim so your insurance rates shouldn't be affected, it's not chargeable.

I have been fortunate enough to not have to deal with insurance companies very much, so hopefully you are right.

I agree & understand; I wasn't trying to lecture on parking "remote".
I've come back to my car, a 3 min walk to the farthest corner, with knuckleheads parked right next to it,
with empty spots all around.

Maybe the mall lot has vid cams?
Punqeazz for them not to leave some ID info, for you...

Oh no, I knew you weren't. Just saying she actually tried to do the right thing. Who knows, she may have been better off parking next to the "junkers". Maybe they would have had more character than whoever did this.

She was visiting her relatives about an hour south of Atlanta and went to two very small stores. Neither were larger shopping centers or malls. I may look into it, but I doubt they have security cameras in the lots. Thanks for the suggestion though.
