I was just browsing and took another look at your X and came across the above. I, like you, also use Irfanview to shrink, crop etc and was wondering if you were aware of the 'Sharpen' option under the 'Image' column. Give it a shot, hopefully it'll fix up your pics. Please let me know the outcome. Comparative pics below of my 'new' E39 535i M Sport. The difference is noticable. Foomph |
She wears her age well - looking good for sure. Sharp color and window tint combo too.

Foomph,
I had noticed that "sharpen" box before, but disregarded it... I touched them a "touch" in LR, and almost always lay off the "sharpening" button; they are very sharp on screen from my files, but lost a step during Irfanview, I guess. I find if I pull my pics from Flickr or Photobucket, they lose less, fwiw. I will try that aspect of IrfanView in future, but the orig pics in this post will have to do for awhile... Thanks to all recent posters for your kind remarks. She is like a good looking older woman, to me. BR, mD |

a well preserved ~60+ yr old. I sort of thought Cougars were more like 35-50 ish. ;) As I like to remind myself, and my Geezer Buds, one realizes we are getting older, when one is checking out a group of 60 yr old+ women, trying to focus on the "best looking" one of the group. Back to my Cave. :D |
