oh, cool... I obviously did not know that.

Hey, I can't find the K750. Is this only a t-mobile phone? Cingular's selection of SE phones is pathetic. :tsk:

Where can I buy an unlocked one, if this is the case?

Ebay is your best friend. I suggest you look at both the Nokia and SE European websites. There are a lot of nice gsm phones that we don't get here; a lot of them are available online.

Here ya go Ebay: SE K750 :)

How did you get it? Even though Cingular was saying that it'd be released on Friday, the local Cingular store told me they had delayed the launch for another week!

I don't know that I need a BB, but I may consider it. I wanted to play with one first, but... :(

Which carrier you want to stay with? The SE W800 is a good walkman phone if you need to reduce one gadget to carry around. All SE phones are not that rugged in my opinion.

I want to stay with Cingular. I agree with you that SE phones tend to not be as rugged as Nokia. They also tend to be lacking in terms of reception. My main criteria for a phone is slimness/sleekness + a doze of coolness/uniqueness. If the phone didn't have camera + walkman, etc, it wouldn't bother me. I'm more into phones with unique form factors that are still simple and efficient to use: which is kinda hard to find these days because cell phone companies are jamming everything in they can. At the end of the day the phone is used to make calls. Thanks for suggestions guys.
