Winter Sneaked In Here...
 

For a few days. Had about 3+ inches of poifect snowball packing snow last night; fired up the wood stove, and took a few pics, celebrating our anniversary.
And, a few pics from this morning & late afternoon, showing the snow/hoar frost up at our level, but looking across to Wolfpen Mtn, Cold Mtn, et al.

Had a "high" of 33 F here today...golf course was empty. :D

Life at 5,000 ft is different than down below, in the flats.

Really? It's mid-90's here today in CA!

And, a few more, from our daily morning walk up the mtn and back...
the snow, about 3", didn't stick much to the ground. Nice to see, brisk and refreshing, but I hear FL calling me. ;)

So that's where our snow went. We've been enjoying unseasonably warm weather here. It hit 22 C the other day when the record low for the same day was -22.8 C back in 2003.
