Winter Sneaked In Here...
And, a few pics from this morning & late afternoon, showing the snow/hoar frost up at our level, but looking across to Wolfpen Mtn, Cold Mtn, et al. Had a "high" of 33 F here today...golf course was empty.  Life at 5,000 ft is different than down below, in the flats. Thanks for looking! BR, mD

And, a few more, from our daily morning walk up the mtn and back...
the snow, about 3", didn't stick much to the ground. Nice to see, brisk and refreshing, but I hear FL calling me.  All shot with my 6 yr old, pocket Canon S50, pretty much straight outta the cam. Thanks for looking!  GL, mD

we're actually supposed to get about an inch of the slushy stuff tonight in ithaca. ouch

So that's where our snow went. We've been enjoying unseasonably warm weather here. It hit 22 C the other day when the record low for the same day was -22.8 C back in 2003.
