Stan, you are so wrong it is amazing. I work with the Spec Ops people every day. They have been ramped up and extremely active ever since the planes hit the towers. They are smart enough to try to stay under the various radars, knowing their successes will be harder to obtain if everyone knows what they are doing.

If that is the case Statdoc, then I stand humbly corrected. I am a big fan of the shadow warriors, and I realize that 95% of their work stays below the radar.

I was simply looking at the bottom line here: UBL was alive and breathing for 7+ years under the Bush Administration. Which, I cannot speak for everyone, really pissed me the f&*& off.
W. had all the same resources as Obama: same Predator drones, same DevGru/ST6, Rangers, Delta, carrier battle groups, you name it. As the years ticked by it became only natural to wonder if UBL became a lesser priority for Bush. Being from the NY/NJ area I would have liked to see UBL's gray matter splatter over the walls much sooner than it finally did. The message would have resonated much louder and clearer if it happened sooner.

So when the "deed" finally takes place halfway into Obama's first term, it just makes me wonder...if the previous administration had all their "ducks in a row" so to speak...

I think it is clear that the Bush Administration got distracted with the Iraq war and spread our forces to thin.

I do question how we deal with Pakistan?

I think the idea of providing aid/money is questionable.

And from the ashes arise the 'deathers'. Here we go....

No sooner were the birthers dismissed than they found a new cause:
Osama bin Laden isn't dead; it's all a government hoax. Goodbye 'birthers,' hello 'deathers.'
