It doesn't look like the motorcyle even attempted to slow down or swerve around. The car didn't make any quick or unexpected moves so the motorcyle rider should have had enough time to react in some way.

BTW, that's how one of my vehicles got written off a few years back. Someone decided to make a left turn in front of me when I was 10 feet from the intersection. I had time to make a skid mark at least (no ABS).

I agree that the bike may not have attempted to slow down but the car is at fault here for sure.

Knowing the car was at fault is probably of little comfort to the guy on the bike, assuming he's still alive.

My point here is that in a lot of bike against car accidents the car is at fault. I used to ride a bike daily when I was in Paris and I can tell you that when you are on a bike you have to be 10 times more careful than with a car.
