iOS 5: How are you liking it?

I upgraded my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 to iOS 5 last night. So far so good. I really like the ability to bold and italicize text in emails. iCloud is cool but 5GB fills up fast.

buddy of mine who's been a BlackBerry user for years got a 4S today and is blown away by Siri. anxious to try it out

My iPhone 4S is great. Really like the speed boost over the iPhone.

Have had bad experiences with all three iOS 5.0 upgrades though (iPhone 4, touch 4th gen, iPad). The iOS 5.0 installation failed multiple times on all three of them (two were on a 32-bit PC; the other on was on 64-bit PC). The failed at different times in the process. On two devices, all app and folder info were lost. These were by far the worst Apple iOS upgrades that I've been through.

mine failed on install once..

i really like iMessage... is very BBM like. The notification center is pretty freaking cool too. I'm not sure i'll use all these features for a couple weeks lol

My old second generation iPod Touch isn't eligible for the new OS. :(

Luckily I had no issues updating either my iPhone 4 or my iPad 2. It took a pretty long time but no hiccups.

I am really liking the iCloud photostream feature. I used to have to email iPhone photos to myself but now they appear on my iPad, Mac, or PC. iMessage is cool too. I started a text conversation with someone with iOS 5 and I continued it on my iPad. The notification feature is cool but more of a novelty.

I am just playing with customizable alerts and vibration patterns for notifications. That is a cool feature that I miss from my Android. I had an Android app that allowed me to customize vibration patterns and now I can do that natively on the iPhone. Plus, you can assign specific tones and vibrations to specific contacts. Now if only I could add custom tones to the list of text message alerts....

Anybody discovering any other cool or useful features?

I did. Took an hour or more. Phone is little slow since then.
Dropbox may lose customers.

Dumb question: SO Dropbox doesn't work with iOS 5? I haven't tried it yet. I'm not a big Dropbox user but my Mac loving wife is and she has not done the upgrade yet.

No, with iCloud why do you need Dropbox.
