Change?, for what?, you have no idea.

I am glad everyone has made their point this morning. Everyone has their own opinion.

I am glad to see TommyX and Palmnut posting, though, I wish it wasn't because of a debate.

I am sure people are taking things quite personally and this is not what this board is about.....

People can accuse people of stealing or borrowing....listen, I am sure SuperGreg and Alpina22 was not the only who ever took a comic strip and re-did. I am sure SuperGreg was not the first one to do the ashtray mod (plus, that mod was a "tongue & cheek" claim by SuperGreg, so don't take it seriously TommyX). Also, TommyX and Palmnut, I do invite you to check out some of our articles down by various other new members who were NOT related with the old RF group and some of them are quite creative.

Hayaku has been on both RF and X5World and continues to contribute greatly to our board with nice write-up (most recent one is re: Camber Plates from Rogue Engineering install).

I wish everyone well and a Happy New Year. There are more things to life than X5World and E53 Roadfly forums. :)

Hey Tommy, welcome. I retract my statement that you were the first to do the comic strip then. Yours was the first that I had seen. Issue is now dead. Now about the ashtray mod, I was not even an X5 owner or RF member in August 01' when the links you supplied were written. That is just to clear the record.

Sorry, no links to the 'toons since they provided entertainment value only.

I always believed in giving credit where credit was due. A perfect example of this would be the SuperGreg Ashtray Mod. There was never any mention of the originator of the idea or of the first to actually perform it. Even when I performed this mod on my X, I gave credit to the "person" who did this first, I just couldn't remember their name. I used this as an example and did not intend on singling out anyone. This is just one example of many for me.

Too many original posts/mod/ideas have either been whitewashed, rewritten, or just outright stolen because it all ties back to Roadfly. This is my opinion; take it for whatever value it offers you.

Thanks, I don't plan on letting a couple of unsolicited posts change a thing. That was THEN, this is NOW
