Make the "Manual Transmission Registry" a sticky in E53 forums?

Someone suggested this the other day and as the creator of the thread I am humbly suggesting this, there have been a few threads lately with guys owning a manual and asking for advice, and getting directed to my thread. The purpose of the Manual Trans registry is one of two things:

1) Post up your vehicle to be added, location, etc, so you can be identified and have a running count of manual transmission members on Xoutpost, and as well, you might notice a member local to you that you might be able to pick their brains as far as meeting up, sharing tools, helping out fix your X5, etc

2) Creates a sort of non-ending "manual transmission chit chat" thread where we stay on topic, talking about short shifters, our experiences finding our X's, helping prospective new members find the proper X5 with 3 pedals, etc.

Wondering what the mods think of making this thread a sticky? I think it would be helpful to someone new who logged in for the first time and saw the thread posted right up top, might save the clutter of extra "introduction" threads and/or asking about manual transmission owners, if the info is right there.

Let me know your thoughts!

I suggested this and second RB's proposal. Looks like prime sticky material to me ....

I'd still like to see our thread made a sticky, the iS models are special and have a dedicated discussion thread, and a lot of MT owner issues and discussions sometimes go in threads with the same people chiming in (other MT owners). If we had a sticky it would be easier to update the registry and keep MT specific discussion in the thread, as opposed to starting other threads in the forum, one could check in on our "stickied thread" first.

C'mon mods!

Ditto that. Most regular posters with 3 pedals know by now about earlier threads, but lets' give newer or less frequent viewers a break and make this a sticky, guys!
