I think a good color choice for the banners would be

BLACK with SILVER lettering (X5 logo)


That would show up great in pictures also..........

Actually, the one hanging up at Crevier was a vertical X5 banner, not the Warsteiner banner. The last time I heard, Palmnut had the Warsteiner banner.

I have. Picked up a lot of useful info and really enjoy this site. Have a 2004 X5 3.0, picked up in Spartanburg with premium, 6 speed, Sterling grey with grey Dakota and cold weather package. Have added Ipod and hard wired fuzzbuster compliments of the great articles here. Will take pics when it stops raining.
