Let's discuss JV's gift here. No one can read this except for us. Also, I don't think I can add someone to the list (this hack is in its infancy)...

I like the CF but I know he wants AEs. He bought the Predators and has not installed them. Perhaps I could buy them off him, and Eric kindly had picked up a set of Xenon non-sports (what's on JVs car) and we can install the AEs on those and swap them out at the meet. The idea would be to somehow acquire the ones he has now.

Perhaps someone other than me could grab them off him (he'll get suspicious).

Eric and I can do the mod, and install at the meet. Time~20 mins.

Maybe this can work out for someone else too, is there anyone looking for AE's? Maybe they can buy the set so Drex and I can install them and they can have the set that JV already has.

I want some AE's except that my headlights can't be opened. So Eric explain how this would work cause I'd love to have them installed during the meeting....
I'd def interested....

I like the CF but there is always the chance that JV won't like it. I think it's a fairly particular taste that goes for CF. The AE's are a good idea. Maybe I'm unclear but is the idea to have a set of AE's made up, ready to install on JV's X5, then take his old ones in trade and install his Predators in them to sell to someone else?

well, the idea would be to buy his AEs off of him (to prevent hiim from installing them) and install them into an exisiting set of headlights that we have acquired. we would install the AEs in the headlights now, and swap out his headlights at the meet.

Ok So Drex or Eric, how would U go about buying his AE'S from him since he just acquired them? and if you've got another set of headlights, that means I can buy JV's and use them to install my AE's right? last question when and how do we come to the equation? his gift would be then the AE's? I'm just a little confused...

Get JV's AE kit to prevent our international man of leisure from installing them.
Install those rings in the headlights that we have.
Swap headlights at meet.
I guess at that point buy JV's headlights and install some AE's

Do I have that right?

Kind of a stretch, but if it's "pull-off-able", I guess it's a good surprise...

Maybe we ought to get him a top qual placement firm/head hunter, that specializes in his field?!

I'm in for whatever, though.

i like the AE's idea, but it might be quite difficult
to pull of.

the idea is to acquire his angel eyes before he installs them.

we have a set of lights that eric kindly paid for (reasonable, too). we buy his AEs from JV and install them in the lights we have bought. Then, at the meet, we switch his headlights for the ones with angel eyes, and hook them up for him (~5 mins).

Then, we have an identical set of headlights that someone could purchase (to refund eric his money), or that we could sell, etc. JVs lights are openable, by the way. so yes, you could buy the headlights.

the idea here is to prevent JV from installing his own angel eyes before the meet.
