In both of my other cars, I have factory upgraded systems, the Porsche has the Bose hi-Fi and the Mercedes has the the updgared sound as well. If the X5 could have the depth and clarity of those two systems, I would be happy. It doesn't need to rock the neighborhood, I don't need to be have such bass I make people's haed turn at a tarfiic light.

Our Stage 1 and the xh108 subwoofer system are perfect for you then. You will be upgrading to a much, much clearer, detailed sound due to upgrading to drivers that are more efficient, more rigid, and overall, better engineered. The xh108 is great from a sound quality perspective. 8" subwoofers are not generally going to 'rock the neighborhood', but in it's design, it blends perfectly with both your existing factory system, or our Stage 1, to deliver that little extra punch and warmth that you might not be able to pick up in your music.

And you don't have top purchase them together. You can purchase them and install them in any order you would like. Maybe try out the xh108, then add a Stage 1 later? Or vice-versa.

Sometime orders over the net don't get processed as qucikly as a telephone call.

They do at BSW. Phone orders and internet orders all run thru the same system, and we process all orders in the order they are received. If you call to place the order, I still run it thru the same system that processes the order if you were to place the order over the web. But ordering over the phone has it's advantages as well. You can speak to a real person, who can let you know if your missing something that the website doesn't happen to mention, you can ask questions as you order, etc.

Jim, sorry you had some difficulties. If you have any other problems, I'll be in the office after 10 AM tomorrow.

The installation was easy, the sound is 100% better than than stock. I need to call today and aks questions about the sub woofer installation. There are a few items in those instructions that I have questions about.

Bottom line, if anyone is unhappy with their sound system, the speaker set is a wonderful upgrade
