ICE->Link Feature Request Thread
I was thinking it might me worth starting a feature request thread that we could forward on to Denison. After a limited time with the device here are a few things I would like to see.. I will update with poll with other suggestions as they come in.
1) Genre menu in addition to artist and album. For those of us with a large amount of music this would really help 2) After selecting a album / artist to play, return to the same point in the list when << is used to exit the selection. Currently you go all the way back to the top of the album / artist list. |
I'd love to see some sort of jump or page down function while scrolling through long lists or artists or playlists.
|
It's a good idea but how would it work? We only have two buttons to play with..
|
I would like to be able to access genre, and toggle song shuffle.
|
Subscribing. All good points. :thumbup:

i would like to see the nav dial fully active. scroll and push to select. long push to select the menu option instead of pushing cd 6.
be great if the song title was displayed in the big box on the nav instead of just scrolling back and forth in the top... more display real estate there... i'm unable to nav scroll through the active playlist... the nav scroll only works for me in the menu sections but once a playlist is being played i have to use the < and > buttons to move through the playlist. i have the 2b2 firmware also and everything else works fine. |
How about the eas source selector resetting the bus so you can throw the switch without turning the key off? :)

I agree with Hayaku's feature request,
As things stand now, Ice>Link is actually more dangerous human interace than the existing radio interface. By fully integrating the Nav wheel, Dension makes a safer interface. One doesn't have to look over there to see if they are pressing the right button, for the right length of time after selecting the right text on the Nav screen: just push the wheel in and that's it - eyes are back on the windshield where they belong. C'mon guys, it can't be that hard. The chaps over at Invention, in the UK, have done it. |
