I was so happy that I had Sirius working that I forgot to check the daisy chain loop to make sure the CD Changer was working properly. This AM I found out that CD's were playing muffled with static so I started taking it all apart it putting it back together in sections and this is what I found out:
CD/OEM Cables to CD Changer Plays OK (stock set-up) CD/OEM Cables to .977 EXT CABLE to CD Changer Plays OK CD/OEM Cables to .977 EXT CABLE to CD Changer to Sirius Receiver CD Changer Plays OK CD/OEM Cables to .977 EXT CABLE to CD Changer to Sirius Receiver to .978 EXT CABLE to CD Changer and it plays muffled with static |

This gets better.....I changed the pin from #2 to #3 per Martin's finding and I get music now ungarbled but when I turn up the volume I can hear the volume knob "clicking" over the speakers.

update....I swapped out the .978 cable for a new one and switched the pin again from #2 to #3 and I still get the clicking sound as I increase the volume with the knob.
