No Logo even to exchange. There is no space for one (well using gif extract). Is this because it is now a JPG? If so how do we get at it?

Seems to have gone worryingly quiet - after all the frantic activity.

Martin and co have done a stunning job so far - I just hope the final release of this version (with the GIF's back) comes soon.

Anyone know why it was changed to JPG format? Seems an odd thing to do, especially as everyone is now going mad with splash logo's.

Here is the "Final" Version. You can change modes in split and Full screen by selecting Pointing North or Direction of travel. For example If in Pointing North 2D selecting Pointing North will bring up Pointing North 3D!

Hope this one addresses everyone's needs.

Can anyone please confirm if ETA works correctly in this final version? I went back to v25 as in the original v26 I downloaded months ago just showed ETA: --:-- all the time.

Thanks,

Steve

 Outstanding, Martin. I loaded my nav drive up with this version and a custom splash screen (slightly modified from one posted by datake) this evening and it is PERFECT !!!!

Excellent work by you and the rest of the team that collaborated on this!!

Am slightly confused as to whether the '3d final' can be modified to take a custom splash screen.

After my 'incident' with a stuck CD in my Mk4, I am now being over cautious. If I load the navboot file into GIFExtractor you can see the standard ===BMW=== logo - however if you then swap this over using the app and then reload the navboot file, there is no logo to be seen. Also, the address ABOVE the splash data is blank - don't recall this in the other navboots.

Can someone please clarify IF the final CAN be updated and what version of GIFEXTRACTOR to use (I am on 1.6).

Thanks all.

Mark.

After doing the image swap, close the gifExtractor program and then run it again with the updated file to see if the new image is there. If so, then you should be good to go
