Ah, excellent. About time on the DVD! Not as if there wasn't enough space on a 4Gb disk!

Off to see if I can pick one up on fleabay

Does it have all the post codes now?? My 2005-2 disk only has some of the major cities??

on earlier dvds one could search by postcode in london, maybe in other major cities (mine is 2004-2). in 2006 can one input ANY address by entering its postcode only or is it still major cities only?

Isn't that what I just asked

Well thats Daft that is exactly what you get from the CD.
I assume the CD does not have enough space for the full Postcode Database but if you look there is 2GB of Hotels and other stuff on the DVD surely they could be a bit more sensible and offer the full postcode DB or do you think the licence from the post office or wheoever, to do that makes it more expensive

Yeah, it should have the full post code on it. The disk is about 4.3 GB so getting close to capacity, but I agree they could make better use of the space.

They NAVTEQ/BMW are probably holding back so they can sell this disk, then release a later version with full post code support -or am I being cynical ;)

Bring on the blu-ray for next gen sat-nav!
