What on earth is that, I am used to having a fancy manu and my temps in celcius, I did the http://www.xoutpost.com/navigation-sy...ht=mk4+upgrade procedure listed there and now there is no nav, before there was nothing so I guess i have made some progress, any ideas? |
That is the menu from your TV module. The TV module and the nav computer work in a master/slave arrangement in running the system. When the TV module detects the presence of a nav computer in the car, it goes into a passive mode. So, I suspect that your upgrade did not go well, and the navigation computer did not boot after the install. The TV module did not find it on the I-Bus, so it took over control of the A/V system.

Oh great, any ideas on how to resolve it :(

Check your cables - I disconnected my Nav CD reader and got a similar menu. When I reconnected the Nav CD reader, everything was back to normal.

You could try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery too. If that does not work, try re-running the navigation OS upgrade.
