Allo of people!!! I am and my English again here am not the best. I have a question, hope it can me help. If I in the Navi/menu goes under option sensor test has I the following problem, the wheel sensor remains with zero to always stand (with to drive). I wanted times to know which the cause am and as I can to be solved the Problemm??? Thanks you already times. BMW e46 320d Navi Professional 16:9 :confused::confused::confused:

This is a known problem. With the retrofit kit wiring loom and (evidently some factory fit wiring looms, there was a fault with one of the pins into the nav computer.

I had this fault on my E46 Nav and it took AGES to get resolved. Only after I printed stuff out from here and a couple of other forums and the BMW tech raising a PUMA case, was the issue confirmed. Moving the pin across remedied the wheel sensor issue, and improved the nav accuracy greatly

Hello of people!!! After a recommendation to pin to exchange, it brought 11 and 10 with me with wheel sensor still no change. Perhaps me can the color of the line call on pin 11 to be put is??? BMW e46 Navi Proffessional 16:9 Mk4 :confused: :confused: :confused:

Still another thing!!! The system was later inserted, but not by me but by the previous owner. Hope for your assistance!!! :rolleyes:

Maybe the speed sensor cable was not wired properly.

The correct wiring for the E46 is:

Nav system X1312 violet connector pin 10 - this is the TAA speedo pulse signal, to tell the nav system how fast you are going.
TAA = Blue/Red wire in retro-fit harness
Goes to IKE (instrument cluster) plug X11175 and connects to black/white wire on pin 8 of X11175
X11175 = black 26-pin plug on back of instrument cluster

If you have the proper retro-fit wiring loom, then the blue/red wire comes out of the loom next to the big square 'old radio' connector, located behind the monitor in the dash.

Make sure you also have the reverse signal connected (RS, Blue/yellow wire, pin 1 of X1312 violet nav connector)
This wire also comes out of the retrofit loom by the old radio connector.
It is supposed to plug into the joint-connector X428, located above the fuse box.
The joint connector is for the reverse lights. It has 12V on it when the reverse lights are on.
