latest OS for a MKIII
 

I have just bought a X5 with a MKIII sat system with a OS of SW3-1/41
Could anybody tell me what is the most up todate OS I could install for the UK and where I can get it?
Also what are the major benifits of having a MKIV system, is it worth
paying £600.00 for a DVD unit?

The benefit of the MkIV is getting a lot more regions on a single disk and it is much faster. Also, with the latest OS (v26) you get improved graphics as well.

Considering that you can still get a good price on a used MkIII, look at the net cost to upgrade. And yes, I think it's worth it :thumbup:

I think I will Upgrade To DVD
I think it will be worth it in the long run.

in my opinion, yes its worth it when you travel across states and stuff. I have nav. CD based latest version for CA NV area and it works ver y good for me. graphics are ok. Decent.
