latest OS for a MKIII

I have just bought a X5 with a MKIII sat system with a OS of SW3-1/41
Could anybody tell me what is the most up todate OS I could install for the UK and where I can get it?
Also what are the major benifits of having a MKIV system, is it worth
paying 600.00 for a DVD unit?

Thanks for your help

The latest OS for the MkIII is 3-1/63. Any disk higher than V22 will take you to that level. See http://www.xoutpost.com/articles.php?...ticle&artid=59 for details on the version info and http://www.xoutpost.com/articles.php?...ticle&artid=88 for sources to download.

The benefit of the MkIV is getting a lot more regions on a single disk and it is much faster. Also, with the latest OS (v26) you get improved graphics as well.

Considering that you can still get a good price on a used MkIII, look at the net cost to upgrade. And yes, I think it's worth it
