219 cable is wrong. Correct cable is
61 12 0 144 096 US61 12 0 153 368 Euro

The 219 cable is for the e38, the 096 cable is for the e39 sedan and the 368 cable is for the X5. At least that is what the TV retrofit kit parts list breakdown shows in the ETK. No difference in Euro and US since the ETK doesn't list retrofit kits for TV in the US so you have to use the Euro parts. I have the 219 in my 750iL e38.

Thanks for the info. I tried the 219 in my 740, but would not mate to anything. I then ordered the 368 cable from Bmiiernav and it has all the correct connectors. The 096 is, I believe, a shorter version of the 368 cable. Anyhow, I will have the TV module in a few days, so I will let you know how it goes.

Which TV module are you getting (type and p/n)?

Why that one? It has been superseded by 65509178796.

Bought it on EBay at a good price and it is modded for in motion and for DVD input.
