I believe the V1's only available on line here. Great product, I don't think you'll be disappointed going this route. Did you check out the S1 too? I know - that could be cutting into your iPod budget, but it's really a great compliment to the V1. Good news is that you can add it later just as easily... Let us know how you make out!

Also, be sure to ask for a refurbished unit if you want to save an additional $40-$50 off the kit. You may require to be put on a waiting list.

So the V1 is a radar detector? Why is it so great? I'm not saying it's not, I'm just uninformed. I think I've seen it in a few ads in Car and Driver.
