Would rather be doing it in the X5... 18 hr road trip

I'm headed on out this afternoon and taking the M3 on a 17 - 18hr road trip (more depending on how often I stop for mother nature's call or to walk my dog). I've done plenty of long drives in the X5 (9 hr max) and loved it. This is gonna be totally different... and no cruise control.

Just thought I'd share... cause if I didn't miss the X5 before, I'll probably talking about how much I miss it when I return.

(but ya can't take an X5 to the track

I wish I did

Never invested in one since they're illegal in VA.

And my foot usually sets cruise at 80 because that's where my leg and foot are most comfortable

Why, the home of Wal-Mart of course... Bentonville AR. Actually, Bella Vista AR which is a few minutes north. Seriously, it's like 5 minutes from the AR/Missouri border.

Aww, come on now JV, that's just not right... besides, she can actually outclass me... she's a wonderful person. And suprisingly, the last time I was out there I actually saw quite a few bimmers. Although, I have to admit, I am a little scared of being run over by the jacked up trucks. I'll just have to get them in the twisties

Next time she visits, I have to introduce her to Gary. He said he'd like to meet her.

I've done a lot of long dis. driving in cars/m'cycles. Have never done a 19 hour deal...be careful. That all night stuff brings on the drowsie heebie-jeebies a few hours before sunrise.
