Lexus LS460 is a copycat of 7er.

Take a look at the side by side profiles....you'll be the judge.

I think other than the trunk lid having that 'subtle' lip.. they don't look all that alike.

Are you insane? The front and rear overhangs are nearly identical, the roofline is 100% identical, the Hofmeister kink on the rear side window (which Lexus tries to disguise by extending the sheetmetal of the door) is a BMW traditional design cue going back almost 45 years!

Come on now! Lexus has copied the best of class of whatever segment they're aiming for since they have been a nameplate, that's what they do!

Here is an overlay of the two photos. They are so close in profile that you can barely see the difference.

Uhuh, everything is identical....they even got the shark fin going too.
Well this is Lexus...they just don't have their own identity. It used to be the S-class in their previous generations.

BMW did a heck of a job facelifting the 7. I like it much better especially the trunk.

I agree. Theses 2 cars are almost identical in shape. Lexus are fine cars but they often copy German's models either Mercedes or BMW.
