Don't you hate able-bodied people parking in handycap spots?

.....and they're celebrities too. Check out Amanda Bynes and Kirsten Dunst breaking the law.

It never ceases to amaze me how people think they are privledged because they can remembor lines and recite them and some yahoo in Arkansas thinks they are great because of it. Cure bird flu and I will be impressed....AMANDA looks like she got hit by the ugly stick in that pic.

Back in the Mtns aka hillbillyheaven, you can cop one of those rear view mirror tags from your doctor if you have a fookin hangnail...you just beef to your Doc and he writes Script for it, and you pick it up at the local DMV.

The most common "handicap" that I observe, back in far western NC, is simply being really fat/toothless. The few HDCP spots at the WalMartNation have people orbiting like electrons waiting for that close-in spot. Bunch of MoonPie eating fatsos, is what they are.

Here in SW FLA, those tags are ubiquitous, too...though most of that seems to be age driven.

Hellsbells, on our golf course, one can secure a HDCP Flag for the cart top, so you can drive right up to the green. I play with some of these bastards and they are about as impaired as I am,

I agree w/Phong...and, thanks for bringing it up so I could freaking Rant this AM!

Other than a True Handicap, (and most here could agree on that definition), or a temp thing like hip surgery, this overdone and stupid practice ought to done away with, imo.

Over.

Yes - I hate that too. But I also hate when some places have too many handicap spaces too. Does somebody really think 20 handicapped people will all be shopping in the supermarket all at the same time?

worse then that to me is the A-hole who simply makes a spot. You see this a lot around the holidays, as if they are so important they can simply turn a curb into a parking spot. Like the rest of us don't want to do that?

Here is my real complaint though, I have YET TO SEE A SINGLE TICKET on one of these cars.

X5Jay has a point, I have never seen 15 handicapped people in the supermarket at the same time. So why are there 15 spots? Is this a mandated thing or something?

Jay:
Hellsbells, in the two places I live, they could have the first 6 spots on both sides of all ten parking rows blue signed as HDCP, and they would still be lined up for that 4 step shuffle walk into WalMartNation.

there's a woman who parks her Explorer in a handicapped spot at the train station every morning, she's about as handicapped as a gymnast with a hangnail. The stupid thing is that there are PLENTY of non-handicapped spots 10 feet away.
