Traffic Rant!

A few months ago, they added a 2nd left turn lane at an intersection. It's a very busy intersection in the morning. (Coffeeman may know where I'm talking about...it's where Dulaney Valley Road meets Jarrettsville Pike). Anyway, they changed it so that there are two left turn lanes and they merge into one lane in a few hundred feet. A lot of the drivers still just use the one original left turn lane, but there are some that use the 2nd turn lane and then merge into a single lane after turning. I, of course, am one of the ones that use the new lane. Well, the people that use the original lane basically REFUSE to let us merge in with them. Do they not see the signs that we are in a turning lane also? Do they not see the sign that says MERGE? They creep up on each other and stay so close to one another that it is near impossible to merge in...then blow the horn and flick us off when we finally do! Sorry, this post really has no point, but I just needed to vent! DRIVES ME CRAAAAAZY!!

It's time to start driving with your high-beams on when making that turn. We need some retaliation here!

That's just like an intersection near my home. There are two lanes to go straight, but everyone uses only one. I'm usually the only one that ever uses the second lane. I either have to floor it to beat the lane next to me or god help me because nobody lets me in the fucking lane

I swear people don't read signs when they drive, even when driving with them I have to ask them..."didn't you c that sign"...and they are usually "what sign"

LOL Since I live "out in the country," this is the only route to the beltway.

maryland traffic

That's why i left frederick for texas. i actually had my insurance cancelled for speeding tickets and points on my record. three of the tickets were for doing 50 something on quiet roads (35 limit). When i moved to texas and acquired my texas dl , my driving record got left behind although they said it would not. No tickets in 3 years now and driving the viper at 150 is a great way to get the wind in u're hair.
