Just a reminder to all who want to sell anything.

These are the rules. I didn't make them up. But not abiding by them might get your post deleted. So why not play along........

You get a piece of the action or what?

You have about 100 posts reminding people to not sell stuff. Why not report it to a mod? Let management make the call.

Nope I get no part of the action and my guess is the mods know about
my 100 posts. But if it annoys you, you're welcome to notify the mods that
It does. Your other choice is to point out to those who abuse the site to
follow the rules. Thank you for your kind obversation.

no one (including a mod) cares if it's in the right section, unless it's spam--and the spam bots have been out in force lately. I've been deleting things like crazy on the forums I mod.

You may be right about weather the mods care or not I can't speak for others. All I know is that the rules are in place for a reason. I didn't write the rules the site owners did. Perhaps to give this site some order regarding what's being sold. Otherwise we're looking at selling sofas, kitchen appliances, and fruit cakes in the E53 forum. But really there are benefits to paying the small fee such as access to the Premier Members Forum. I can attest that as a member of this site I can personally say I've saved 20 times the amount I paid for the cost of premier membership from the advice i've received from members. I guess you could say I come for the information but I stay for the friendships. So, rather than circumvent the purpose of the site why not encourage others to show their appreciation for the help. That's really why we're here right?

x2... bugs me seeing stuff for sale in sections it does not belong. The information here is hosted and served free. If you want to sell something at least have the common decency to follow their rules and help contribute some cash towards the expense of providing a wealth of help.
