yes - i have been in radio most of my "adult" life. hopefully i won't get flamed by all of the XM and Sirius fans out there

Anyways, glad you made it out alive & relatively intact!

Same thing happened to my mom within minutes of everyone sitting at the Thanksgiving table!!!! Reaching over to serve a dish & *POOF*, then all napkins were on deck putting out the Blaze!

The insanity at the time was only matched by the very creative jokes & fun it spawned... a new fire-resistant hair product line called "CoolHeads" and a lil rhyme about "Who's the HOTTEST in the West?!" Hehehe. Kids can be awful at any age, can't we? At least it got to smile!

Thx for sharing. That's just too crazy!
